Monday 4th December: Idreiss Quartet
Idreiss regularly performs across the UK & abroad in venues in destinations including Ibiza, Dubai, Cannes, Cyprus & Qatar. He has always had a passion for music and has recently turned his skills to writing original material working with top producers, recently having a regular play on Kiss FM & live performances in various Mega Clubs across the UK.
Monday 11 December : The Gents Quartet
The definition of dapper in their trilbys and rolled-up shirt sleeves, The Gents are a smooth, soulful supper club band – with a setlist of stripped-back, acoustic arrangements of everything from Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On to Nick Jonas’ Jealous. Frontman J’s silky vocals are perfectly complimented by keyboard, bass and gentle percussion. Aside from their GQ looks, this talented quartet are also some the finest session musicians in the country, and it shows. With their selection of mellow grooves and their laid back vibe, these four finely groomed gents are the ideal background band for wedding receptions, summer garden parties and other intimate gatherings.
Monday 18 December – The Bury St Belles
The Bury St Belles are Quaglino’s resident vocal harmony trio. Taking their inspiration from jazz, blues, soul, swing and bebop, their sound is a unique fusion of classic and contemporary numbers; from Ella Fitzgerald to Pharrell and everything in between.
One of the UK’s leading entertainment acts, they are also sought after as an international act, performing worldwide as a trio and with their band, ‘The Bass Tones’. So far in 2017, they’ve taken their vintage style around the world with performances in the Middle East, the Caribbean, Europe and Hong Kong.
Christmas Day: ALR Gospel
This Christmas Day we have a live show not to be missed as one of the UK’s premier gospel choirs, ALR Gospel join us at Quaglino’s to have you dancing in your seats. ALR Gospel will be performing their unique brand of Gospel/Soul/Pop/Jazz music, featuring songs from their new Christmas album, you will be singing along to all the Christmas classics!
What sets ALR Gospel apart from other choirs is their unique blend of close harmonies as well as their ability to fuse a traditional and modern Gospel sound with many different genres such as Soul, Pop, Jazz, Latin and Classical.They have performed with many of the music industry’s finest acts such as Phil Collins, Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis, Peter Andre and Beverley Knight and this dynamic live show is very exciting and a great evening is
promised.
