21:00 – 22:00 Sharon Rose
Thursday January 11th see’s Q Live kicking off 2018 with one of Motowns leading ladies.
For one night only, joining us from her leading role as Diana Ross in Motown the Musical, Sharon Rose will wow her Q Live audience with an intimate set of the Motown legends classics.
With vocals dubbed as “flawless” by none other than pop royalty Gary Barlow, the young singer/songwriter will take her audience on a trip through Diana’s chart topping discography from ‘Upside Down’, ‘I’m Coming Out’, to ‘Why Do Fools Fall in Love’, ‘Baby Love’ and ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ from 9pm.
Like many vocalists, Sharon Rose found her voice in church choirs and on school stages at a very young age. In a national talent contest she was referred to as ‘a strong contender’ by Dan Wooton – Daily Mail. When on stage, Rose and her 7-piece band, which she wittily calls ‘The Thorns’, put on a show that is a cocktail of energy, heart, poise and cool that really does elevate and cultivate the spirits. She recently finished a year at the Aldwych Theatre in the production of “Beautiful- The Carole King Musical” where she plays Little Eva. When not on a West End Stage Sharon also travels the world performing original material.
22:00 – 01:00 DJ Foxx
From Sydney Australia, the now London based Foxx plays an eclectic mix of house, funk, soul and disco. Now a regular fixture on the London circuit, you can catch her spinning anywhere from the exclusive Box Club, The Arts Club, and Soho House, through to clubbing haunts The Egg, Sankey’s and Fire & the summer festival circuit.
