What’s on today: Tom Diesel + Tom James
On Monday 19th of August we welcome back Tom Diesel’s live looping experience featuring singer/songwriter Tom James for a fully immersive musical experience.
About:
From a young age, Tom Diesel had an infatuation with music, starting with the saxophone which was the first instrument he ever received formal training for. This love has grown to include both the guitar and keyboard and now he tours intensively with a variety of ensembles playing across instruments. He is able to play all three instruments as part of the same show, using loop pedals to create full arrangements and soundscapes.
Tom James is a solo singer/songwriter based out of South West London. Having grown up surrounded by music and hailing from a classical background, Tom creates his own unique twist on much loved covers from throughout the ages as well as continuously perfecting/writing his own tracks. Tom has a history of performing across the U.K. and is known for his unique sound and style. He takes inspiration from artists such as John Mayer, Jon Bellion, Paolo Nutini and more recently, Lewis Capaldi. Tom refers to his style as “an eclectic mix of pop/folk with some playful funk and jazz coming through in the vocal sections”.
