Tobi’s passion for performing was ignited at the age of nine, after witnessing Michael Jackson perform at Wembley Stadium. This pivotal moment cemented her aspiration to become a performer. Her musical journey began in her church choir, eventually leading her to join professional choirs, where her talent continued to flourish. Today, Tobi is a well-known session singer and background vocalist.
Previously, she toured with Ella Eyre and Kano and recently completed a five-year stint as a touring and studio feature vocalist for the indie-rock band Crystal Fighters. She is now a lead vocalist on Re:imagine’s live tributes to artists including Lauryn Hill, Frank Ocean, and Destiny’s Child but you can also catch her bringing the vibes in various venues around the London/Essex area, as well as on national and international stages.
Tobi’s reputation for a larger-than-life, high-energy has performance has led her to share the stage with artists such as Jessie J, The 1975, Justin Timberlake, Gregory Porter, Ella Eyre, Kano, Kylie Minogue, Tom Jones, Ellie Goulding, Alfie Boe, Beverley Knight, Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls), Duran Duran, and Def Leppard.
