Sophia Romain’s musical journey began at the tender age of 9, captivating audiences with her soulful voice as she performed in gospel choirs for church and school productions. Fuelling her passion for music, she pursued formal education at The British Academy of New Music, honing her skills and expanding her artistic horizons.
Driven by her deep love for music, Sophia ventured into songwriting and recording, culminating in the release of her self-titled EP. This debut EP featured her standout single “Fly Away,” which gained widespread acclaim and secured a coveted spot on the Ministry of Sound: UK Funky Compilation. Her single “Fly Away” opened the door to more opportunities as she performed to audiences across the UK club circuit and even ventured overseas with her infectious hit.
In recent years, Sophia Romain has showcased her immense talent as a performer in The Magic of Motown touring theatre show, enthralling audiences with her captivating stage presence and stunning vocal abilities. Her expertise extends beyond her solo pursuits, as she has also assembled vocal groups and arranged vocals for gospel choirs.
Presently, Sophia continues to share her extraordinary gift by enchanting audiences at diverse events and venues both in the UK and abroad. With her soulful voice, unwavering passion, and undeniable talent, she leaves an indelible mark wherever her music resonates.
