Powerhouse vocalist Vula is probably best known for her work as lead vocalist with Basement Jaxx, including the hit single Oh My Gosh. Vula is one third of vocal trio, LaSharVu, with whom she has opened the main stage at Love Supreme Festival, supported Average White Band at the Festival Hall and performed sold out shows at Festivals and venues all over the UK. She has an impressive CV as one of the premier backing vocalists both in the UK and in the States, performing with Sam Smith, Clean Bandit, Lalah Hathaway, Sam Sparro and other major artists. Vula has wowed huge audiences at the Royal Albert Hall, featuring as a lead vocalist with The Heritage Orchestra, as a featured vocalist for the Quincy Jones Prom and alongside Gregory Porter at the Battle of the Bands Prom, 2014. Her work with the Heritage Orchestra has seen her perform at Hollywood Bowl in LA and tour the major stadiums of Australia. She also received rave reviews for her show stopping performance at Jazz Voice, the opening gala concert of the London Jazz Festival at a sold out Barbican Hall.
Vula brings a rare solo performance to Quaglinos. Expect those trademark, impressive vocal chops to feature on soul classics, iconic R&B songs and songs by some of the many artists she has graced a stage alongside.
