Berget Lewis is enjoying a spectacular career in all aspects of music. Arguably the best vocalist of her home country The Netherlands.  Berget has performs all over Europe, bowling over audiences across the continent. And in Holland she is nothing less than a superstar.

Berget is an eminent songwriter who co-produced her eponymous albums of very personal, soulful music. She has starred as ‘Effie White’ in the long running musical ‘Dreamgirls’ in the Netherlands. She has toured in the major clubs of Holland and takes her show to theaters across the country. When she teams up with four close musical friends as ‘The Ladies of Soul’, she brings the house down off the 17.000 capacity Amsterdam Ziggo Dome. The Ladies of Soul are Berget Lewis, Glennis Grace, Candy Dulfer and Edsilia Rombley.

Berget participated in The X Factor in the UK in 2017 with a performance of Purple Rain by Prince. She made a very great impression.

Like many other great vocalists, Berget started singing in church and at age 15 she toured in the United States with a gospel choir.  In 2007 she released a dance track  ‘in more than seventeen countries. That same year Berget competed with seven singing stars in the TV-show ‘The Best Singers of The Netherlands’ and walked away with the grand prize, propelling her career to dizzying heights. Her talents were recognized abroad and stars like Van Morrison, Dave Stewart, Candy Dulfer and Maceo Parker invited her to perform as their ‘special guest’.

In 2016 she was invited to perform at Java Jazz in Indonesia with multiple Grammy award winner David Foster. He produced and arranged songs for Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Natalie Cole, Mary J. Blige. Artists who inspired Berget to start a singing career. She also sang a duet with soulsinger Eric Benet.

Singer, musical star, songwriter, producer, teacher, ‘the best singer of The Netherlands’… Berget Lewis is nothing less than a multi-faceted musical phenomenon.
