Here at Quaglino’s we’re proud to announce that throughout July we will be partnering with the Charity Hosipitalty Action, helping to provide aid to hospitality and service workers during their times of need.
Behind their smiles and slick service hospitality workers can fall upon hard times just like anybody else. Ours can be a stressful industry, with long hours, high pressure environments and physically demanding work. Hospitality Action have assisted hospitality people for over 185 years. They were one of the first UK charities to mount an emergency response to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. As the pandemic unfolded their response continually evolved to lessen the financial and mental health impact on the most vulnerable people in our industry. Since the on-set of the pandemic Hospitality Action have been able to assist some 7,000 hospitality households with nearly £2.5million in grants. Throughout July, D&D London will be adding a £1 voluntary donation to every customer’s bill, so Hospitality Action can continue to provide critical aid to the most essential workers.
