About Jermain Jackman
22 year old singer & songwriter Jermain Jackman is one of the UK’s most innovative, interesting and unique performers, he was crowned winner of BBC’s The Voice UK in 2014.
Blessed with a beautifully rich baritone, Jackman’s renditions during The Voice UK of, ‘House is not a home’, ‘Wrecking Ball’ and ‘I’m telling you’ (which have had over 10 million views online) where simply stunning, showing off his incredible range as a singer.
Described as his all time favorite artist Luther Vandross by many, Jermain is a natural, from baritone to alto, inventive vocalist who manages to push the boundaries of possibility, while retaining a delicacy and restraint that is admirable. Recently having worked on his own brand of brilliantly upbeat, Soulful Pop, Jackman’s vintage sound has one foot in the 60’s and 70’s, while the other is pointed firmly towards the future.
This is soul music inspired by yesterday, made for tomorrow. People have always said that I’m a young man with an old head on my shoulders,” says Jermain with a grin. “I think my music has the ability to appeal to all sorts of people of all ages. But I’m still a young man, and I want my music to reflect that too.”
About Michelle John
Michelle John was born to sing. Whether it was singing as a child in her local Gospel Choir , or recording and touring with such stars as George Michael , Annie Lennox , Mariah Carey and Eric Clapton .
Michelle’s vocal dexterity has allowed her to work with artists covering the whole music spectrum, from R&B Diva Whitney Houston to the Legendary Tenor Andrea Bocelli .
Her expertise has helped to craft the voices of tomorrow through her vocal coaching on Pop Idol and with artists such as Razorlight , Girl’s Aloud, Atomic Kitten , Liberty X , Mis-Teeq Bryan Mc Fadden and Westlife .
She has toured with Will Young on his last 3 U.K Tours , and the opportunity to perform with Herbie Hancock and Sheryl Crow , recorded with the phenomenal Lenny Kravitz and recently performed at a concert for President Barak Obama at The White House.
Michelle had the pleasure of being the Vocal Coach for the artist Rita Ora for a few years and was a contestant on ” The Voice UK 2017 ” where as on Team Will.I.am she finished as a Finalist in 4th place .
