Quaglino’s boasts an iconic Mezzanine Lounge bar overlooking the grand restaurant floor and offering balcony views of the live entertainment that takes place from Tuesday to Sunday every week.

Led by a talented bar team including the uber skilful mixologist Davide Arcucci, the bar features an extensive cocktail list featuring a mix of innovative creations, favourites and twists on classics, made using the finest spirits and home-made ingredients.

If wine is more your forte, then the comprehensive yet carefully-selected list at Quaglino’s features a 300-bin wine list focusing on renowned European regions and balanced by carefully-chosen additions from the New World, including California, Chile and New Zealand.

Marco

Marco Sangion, Quaglino’s Bar Manager

Marco began his career in hospitality in his native Italy, working in a kitchen from the age of 17 whilst still studying at school. After three years of working alongside chefs, Marco moved to the bar, taking his knowledge from the kitchen and applying it to liquids. Whilst experimenting with different spirits, vermouths, liqueurs and bitters Marco realised bartending was a serious career he wanted to follow.   A fan of loud, vibrant flavours, and wow-factor glassware and garnishes, these are all things Marco incorporates into the bar offering at Quaglino’s as part of his role as Bar Manager where he joined in 2014. He loves to see guests’ reactions to cocktails, especially when they discover a drink they really love. Leading the bar team at Quaglino’s, he aims to offer a special brand of hospitality to all guests, where not only do they enjoy spectacular food and drinks, but they also leave having had an unforgettable experience.  Read more here.

Davide Arcucci, Head Mixologst.

Davide began his career in Italy at the age of 23 at a small bar in his home town of Naples. Inspired to become a bartender after watching his Italian peers excelling on the international stage, he decided to travel and broaden his experience. Seeing London as one of the leading cities in the world for cocktails, Davide decided to move to the UK in February 2014.  After a short stint at Aqua Shard he joined the team at Quaglino’s working closely with Operations Director Milos Popovic.  After accepting the role of Head Bartender a few months later, Davide began working on a new cocktail menu alongside Bar Manager Marco Sangion and the rest of the team. Davide’s approach to hospitality is to simply make people happy.  Taking the most enjoyment from seeing smiles on his guests’ faces and the positive energy that surrounds him, Davide continues to make Quaglino’s a lively, welcoming and elegant hub within St James.  Read more here.
